Jumping for joy at the Fontainebleau, Miami Beach. This South Florida wedding started off with a ton of positive energy. The bride Tara was photo ready and willing to become her natural self in front of the camera. The getting ready pictures started with some jumping exercise for the camera. I know it’s going to be a great day when I start with such an enthusiastic bride!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

What a fabulous summer wedding! Tara and Scott live in the Midwest, so planning their South Florida destination wedding at the incomparable Fontainebleau Miami Beach<\/a> was definitely something very special for them as well as their lucky guests. To help plan their elegant summer wedding, the couple called upon Carrie Zack Events to manage all details and create the wedding of their dreams.<\/h2>\n

Getting ready wedding pictures taken at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Florida. It’s always s nice perk when all the brides getting ready photos have an awesome ocean view in the background. Tara decided to provide her girls with blue robes to wear during the getting ready pictures. I robes provided a nice color match against the ocean.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The hotel itself is considered historic, having first opened its doors in 1954, attracting celebrities and filmmakers alike. The Fontainebleau is prominently featured in the classic James Bond film Goldfinger (1964). In 2008, the hotel underwent a massive renovation and was transformed into the modern marvel we see today. Just check out the incredible architecture in the photos below – there is simply nothing like it anywhere else.<\/h2>\n

The groom, Scott got ready with his guys in a room on another floor. This is the best way for couples to start their wedding day. Just a quick elevator ride takes the photographer from the brides room to the grooms room. This makes taking the getting ready pictures much easier for your photographer. I shot these wedding pictures in color but for this article I posted the split-tone version of these wedding pictures.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s very common for couples to share gifts during the getting ready portion of the wedding day. Usually the bride gets some jewelry but in this case Tara got a nice Chanel purse on her wedding day. The Fontainebleau in Miami Beach has some fixtures are are great for wedding photography.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For a Miami Beach wedding, there is hotel that provides more unique locales to shoot than the Fontainebleau. There is literally an endless array of magnificent spots in and around this hotel to photograph willing brides and grooms. Tara and Scott were enthusiastic about their pictures from the very beginning – before we even met – and on their wedding day they were fun and fabulous to work with. Just look at these shots that we had so much fun shooting.<\/h2>\n

Tara and Scott did their first look in the lobby type walkway between the main hotel and the ballrooms. This section of the hotel has gorgeous white marble floors and a light and airy feel. It’s one of the more secluded sections of the Fontainebleau hotel which is perfect for the first look.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One of the most popular decorative features of the lobby is this gold tiled wall and staircase. Its the perfect place for bride and groom pictures.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For Miami Beach, the Fontainebleau is a perfect venue to host a wedding \u2013 either large or small. There are so many amazing spaces and rooms there for ceremonies and receptions that there is literally a perfect spot for everyone. Whether your ceremony is planned inside or out, the Fontainebleau can provide an incredible backdrop for your vows. Tara and Scott’s ceremony was beachside – the ultimate tropical and romantic setting.<\/h2>\n

In my attempt to stand out as the best South Florida wedding photographer I’m always looking for unique places to take out of the box pictures. When I saw this circular staircase I knew I could make an interesting shot here. It took some careful posing and tricky camera work to get this photo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s very popular for couples to have their ceremony on one of the hotels balcony’s. This ceremony location offers a beautiful ocean view which made for awesome wedding pictures. Because this balcony location was a little distance from the ocean there was less wind. This is a big plus which should be considered when planning a South Florida beach view wedding.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After the wedding ceremony I was able to take the bride and groom down to the beach for some additional pictures. Because it was later in the day many of the beach sunbathers left the beach. This gave us the opportunity to get some beach side ocean wedding pictures with out people in the background.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As a South Florida wedding photographer, I often photograph couples at the beach. With a Fontainebleau Miami Beach wedding, how could we NOT hit the beach?<\/h2>\n

Fun action wedding reception party photos are a big part of wedding coverage. It’s important to get beautiful bride and groom photo but it’s also important to convey that fun and excitement that took place during the wedding reception. When I get to the reception my main goal is the get as many interesting party shots as possible. If this photo, I decided to make a collage of many different reception pictures. As a way of separating each picture I thought it would be a great idea to mix both color and black and white pictures.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
