Harbor Beach Marriott wedding!\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Sarah and Andrew met, officially, on October 27, 2007, as seniors in high school. It was at a Halloween party that this guy dressed as the Phantom of the Opera approached Sarah. Though they had seen each other in the hallways around school, the guy hadnt gathered the courage to talk to Sarah until that night. With the encouragement of his friends, Andrew introduced himself to Sarah, and well, the rest is history. Photographing\u00a0Sarah and Andrew\u2019s Harbor Beach Marriott<\/a> wedding was a fantastic experience that resulted in some of the most amazing pictures ever! \u00a0I wish I could post more pictures from this wedding but I think hundreds of pictures are too many for a blog post.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Bride
This makeup photo was taken in the bridal suite at the Harbor Beach Marriott. The makeup artist’s circular makeup light provided nice soft even lighting for this shot.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I had a great time being creative during taking this Harbor Beach Marriott wedding photo. The makeup artist was not only great to work with she also helped me get some very creative photos.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After going to their high school prom together, then to the University of Miami and later moving to Philadelphia, Andrew made it officialwhen he surprised Sarah by bringing her back to the UM campus, getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him! Up until May 29th, 2016, that was the happiest day of Sarahs life! Their wedding this past May was a long time coming and absolute perfection. Sarah has said that she could not be more excited to be married to her best friend and to such an incredible human being. Sarah and Andrews South Florida wedding was just the beginning of what Sarah is sure will be an endless love story.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Brides
As a wedding photographer I make sure I photograph all of the brides details. This includes her shoes. I usually start the wedding day photography several hours before the ceremony. During the getting ready pictures I photograph all the brides details including her shoes.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Creating beautiful bridal portraits is what I love most. For this shot I arranged the bridal gown and the bridesmaids dresses to create a unique background. The lighting from the Harbor Beach Marriott’s balcony window provided soft directional lighting for this wedding portrait.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sarah and Andrew chose the Harbor Beach Marriott as their venue for the entire wedding weekend. She had her eyes on the resort for many years, as she used to go to the beach there as a kid, attended a sorority formal while in college, and watched her cousin get married at HBM ten years ago. It didnt take much to convince Andrew that it was the perfect spot for their wedding; he was certain from the second they stepped inside the hotel together! From the location to the atmosphere, you just cant beat it. It was very important to them that their guests were able to be somewhere for the weekend where they could relax and enjoy the beautiful South Florida weather and beaches, and the Harbor Beach Marriott had it all!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Creative
Always thinking creatively I’m on the lookout for a unique photo opportunity. In the bridal suite was a glass coffee table. By moving the table I was able to get a very nice double reflection which added interest to this photo sequence. The groom wrote a pre-wedding ceremony love letter to Sarah. Capturing these images with some extra creativity will help to make the wedding album more artistic.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

What a fantastic ocean view background for the First Look! The Harbor Beach Marriott has one of the best ocean views in Fort Lauderdale Beach!<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As a South Florida wedding photographer, I shoot many weddings all around the area. The Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale is one of my favorite locations. It is selected by both locals as well as out-of-towners to host their weddings due to its ideal beachfront location and proximity to all that lively Fort Lauderdale has to offer. The hotel itself has a superb catering staff that will attend to wedding clientsand guests every need. The food and ambiance are fabulous as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

The kites being flown from the beach added a level of interest to this picture. Since the hotel sits directly on the beach they get to fly these awesome kites.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This waterfall is located by the main pool. There are so many fantastic places to take bride and groom pictures around the Marriott. As a South Florida wedding photographer, I’m always looking to create as many different photos as possible. This weather fall gave me the opportunity to crank out a few more creative images.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Did you know that I got to shoot the first wedding in the hotels new Ocean Ballroom? This ballroom has an great ocean view. It’s one of the most beautiful wedding ballrooms in Fort Lauderdale.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In Sarah and Andrews case, theirs was a South Florida destination wedding, as they now both live in Philadelphia. They couldnt have selected a better spot for their out of town guests to enjoy while in sunny South Florida! We enjoyed photographing their wedding very much and thank them for allowing us to be a part of their big day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of my favorite wedding events is the “First Dance”. I always just love shooting different angles of the bride and groom while everyone is watching them enjoy their special moment together.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The waterfalls at the Marriott Harbor Beach are perfect for bride and groom photos. This couple had a very small wedding with only 20 wedding guests. Their ceremony was on the beach with toes in the sand. If you want to get married with clean feet the Ocean Terrace is the perfect place to tie the knot and still have an ocean view. However, if you want to get married on the beach that can be arranged as well.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

If your heart is set in an outdoor or indoor event the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa can create the wedding or event of you imagined.\u00a0 If you imagine having an intimate beach wedding ceremony or an extravagant ballroom event this venue can provide the event you have dreamed of.\u00a0 Having an elopement just for two?\u00a0 I have photographed many beach side intimate elopements against the Marriott\u2019s fantastic ocean backdrop. Wedding ceremonies against the spectacular ocean view are my favorite pictures to take at this hotel! \u00a0 \u00a0The beach is the perfect place to have a bonfire and a great evening, by the way, they grill on the beach as well. \u00a0 I have also photographed many wedding ceremonies in which the bride and groom have exchanged their vows on the outdoor terrace. \u00a0Photographing weddings and events at the Harbor Beach Marriott may also require your photographer to be on the look out for guests or attendees (if this is a corporate event) who have ventured out to the beautifully landscaped and alluring alcoves and fire pits, \u00a0As a photographer looking for guests who have left the party scene to find a quite place among the hotel fire pits I have to be careful with my approach.\u00a0 The hotels beautiful seating combined with the warm fire pits can create a let\u2019s get away from the party noise atmosphere or a let\u2019s be alone romantic atmosphere that I would not want to intrude upon.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\"Bonfires
This photo was taken at a corporate event at the Harbor Beach Marriott. Can you imagine your wedding or special event guests enjoying the same fun type of beach party. Not too many wedding venues in Fort Lauderdale can offer an evening on the beach like this.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

While some of your wedding or event guests are enjoying a quite away time from your event, a raging party just might be taking place in The Ocean Ballroom a short walk away\u00a0 The Ocean Ballroom has high 80 foot floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an amazing ocean view.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

How about fireworks while you are enjoying a raging party on the beach? This is easy to achieve when you decide to have an event at the Harbor Beach Marriott. <\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

When you add it all up, the pristine beach, the wide view from the Ocean Terrace, the beautiful large ballroom and those romantic fire pits, there is no question that you should consider having your Broward County wedding at the Marriott Harbor Beach.\u00a0 If course I must add, I would love to photograph your wedding, elopement, or party at this awesome venue.<\/span><\/p>\n

When people hear Harbor Beach Marriott, or Marriott Harbor Beach, everyone knows which hotel is being referred to. \u00a0Actually the official name is,\u00a0Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. \u00a0 That a lot to say, \u00a0the Harbor Beach Marriott is much easier. \u00a0 I recently visited the hotel during a week day while the Coronavirus was taking it’s toll on the entire wedding and event industry. \u00a0Actually, we are still living in the throes of this horrible pandemic. \u00a0I’m writing about the Coronavirus in past tense, \u00a0because my hope is that one day in the near future, this will be well behind us. \u00a0 While I was visiting the Marriott it was very quite, and the Ocean Ballroom was in the final stages of a renovation. \u00a0The carpet was replaced. \u00a0The wall fixtures have been changed, and the ballroom and ballroom lobby now have an updated modern look. \u00a0That funky mirror as removed and replaces with a new more modern looking mirror. \u00a0However, if you want to see that old funky mirror, you can see it in this blog post which includes Harbor Beach Marriott wedding pictures. Click here:\u00a0Pictures from the Marriott Harbor Beach. \u00a0<\/a> There are so many interesting places to take pictures at the Marriott, it’s a wedding photographers, playground. Every time I work at this hotel I get new creative and unique pictures. Check out this link to another wedding which I recently had published in Tacari Weddings. \u00a0Seeing my weddings published in various magazines and online wedding websites always makes me happy. \u00a0This Jewish wedding ceremony took place on the Ocean Terrace after the sound set, check it out here: \u00a0\u00a0Jessica and Scott’s wedding, published in Tacari Weddings.<\/a> \u00a0 Jessica and\u00a0Scott were supposed to have their wedding at another location in South Florida, \u00a0However the wedding venue they chose was going through a major rebuild and they decided to change locations. \u00a0Personally I’m glad they choose the Harbor Beach Marriott.<\/p>\n
