Working as a corporate photographer in South Florida gives me the opportunity to shoot a wide variety of unique assignments ranging from headshots, corporate portraits, advertising shots, editorial assignments and corporate or special events.
Because my life as a professional photographer has been filled with so many opportunities, twists and turns I have developed the skills necessary to tackle any assignment. After graduating from Adelphi University with my BA in Communications and Photography I made the move to Los Angeles. By the time I arrived in LA I was already photographing models for fashion, product photographs and working on movies. Fresh out of college I realized that I still had much more to learn. While in LA I worked for many different photographers and developed my skills further. At one point I became one of the top photo lab technicians and landed a job working at the most prestigious labs in the country. Check out ColorEdge Burbank. Working at ColorEdge, (actually it was called Color House at that time) gave me the chance to learn from the best photographers in the world. I received a first class education that just isn't possible any place else. By learning from the photography greats such as Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton and Herb Ritts were just a few of the photography greats I had the pleasure of learning from. I also produced photography for many major companies such as Rockwell International, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Redkin, Sebastian, OPI, and a wide range of other cosmetic and hair care companies. I also worked at a photographer for the Los Angeles Fire Department as an arson photographer. I think it's safe to say, in the area of commercial and corporate photography, I'm highly educated.
I guess you may be wondering, How did I end up in South Florida? Actually I was shooting for Playboy Entertainment for several years. Playboy was sending me to Jamaica and Miami for photo-shoots for their advertising and cable tv network. In the interest of keeping this short, My wife and I really enjoyed out time here in South Florida. Given that we had no family in LA we considered making the move east. I got an apartment and decided to travel back and forth just to see what happens. Right out of the gate I started getting busy so I decided to make to move. Obviously there is much more to the story.
